Been a while since I did an update!
Well, team Race Supplies finished the season with the best possible result in the 125 Championships with 1st and 2nd place overall. Along the way also picking up the NZGP and TT titles as well. In fact Team Race Supplies was 1st, 2nd and 3rd in the NZTT with Tim McArthur following home Avalon who won and Jake in second.
This year we are moving up to the 600 Supersport class with Tim McArthur and at the moment we are learning the bigger bike in the off season...bit different to the 125!
NZ 125GP Champion Jake Lewis got a wild card ride the the European Junior cup at Silverstone in the UK riding a Kawasaki Ninja 250. Jake rode very well and finished a very credible 7th.

Exciting NZSBK round 3 in Christchurch for Team Race Supplies
After the third round of the New Zealand Road Race Championships Team Race Supplies still have number 1 and 2. Jake is still leading the championship with a 21 point lead from Avalon. Jake had a pretty good weekend in Christchurch, in race 1 he hunted down Avalon for the opening laps and then took the lead with a few laps to go and won the race. Race 2 didn't go so well for the team.. Jake had a mechanical problem which left him unable to finish the race. Avalon also made a wee mistake in the last corner and fell off, getting back on to finish 10th.
The Grand Prix race had a very exciting build up with some rain leaving the track damp but not wet. Despite the difficult conditions Jake was on a mission, with his eyes on the prize right from the flag drop. As Avalon struggled in a bit of traffic Jake got away at the front with a good lead, which he maintained for the rest of the race . It was a good end to the weekend for the team, with both of our riders on the number 1 and 2 spots on the podium for the prestigous Grand Prix title race.
After a bit of a break we will be heading up to the north island to race at Hampton Downs on the 26th nd 27th of March and then to Manfeild for the last round of the championship on the 5th and 6th of April.

NZSBK update:
After two rounds of the New Zealand Road Race Championships Team Race Supplies with Jake Lewis and Avalon Biddle are 1-2 in the 125 GP championship. Jake is currently leading Avalon by 17 points and the team is really looking forward to the GP this coming weekend at Ruapuna Raceway in Christchurch.

Team Race Supplies had a great 3 days of testing at Ruapuna last weekend as a build up to the Nationals starting next weekend at Timaru. The whole team worked really great together and we tested lots of things including some new developments from He-Ja Mototechnics which certainly seem to work well. The Bridgestone tyres worked fantastic as always and the team thanks Bridgestone for their ongoing support of Team Race Supplies. Bridgestone have supplied us with a great range of Moto GP posters and other promotional material to give away over the season so come and see us for your Jorge Lorenzo or Valentino Rossi poster.
